Shoes Shoes Shoes!

Every other minute, I am thinking about my next shoe purchase (or at least thinking about a shoe that I would love to purchase but can't due to the lack of a million dollar salary.

These are my current obsessions (along with the shoes in my first post):





FENDI grosgrain bow-front pumps
These pumps can make any little black dress a thousand times cuter! What's cuter than a pretty bow accenting a perfect pedi? And its nude colour would visually elongate my too-short legs.

GUCCI spring 09 runway
I may be a tad obsessed with these shoes, or at least any shoe resembling them! I am looking for the perfect platform strappy sandal to wear with any simple ensemble.

I'm going to mention it again but I loove open toed booties! I recently picked up a pair from Nine-West but these are outstanding, especially with the hot pink accents.

My First Blog!

This blog is directed to no one in particular (well truthfully, maybe to myself). I just need a place to document my fashion faves, especially considering that they may change on a daily basis!

Well, I think I can start with a few of my favourite runway looks/collections for Spring 09:
LANVIN - I absolutely LOVED this collection. Single shots of colour and soft oversized gathers may have seemed simple, but these beautiful garments were anything but.

YVES SAINT LAURENT - Cutout booties are what Spring 09 is all about! I looove these mesh booties (despite the potential for horrible blisters). This collection was filled with extra feminine skirted outfits and plenty of slouchy voluminous pantsuits.

ALEXANDER WANG - First off, may I comment on these gorgeous open toed platform booties? I am still waiting for the perfect pair! Sheer is back, especially in bodycon form. His moth-eaten sweaters are also a must-have for Spring 09...though we may just have to settle for loose-knit oversized sweaters.

DIOR - Though this may not have been my favourite of his collections, I can't help but still love it! You can see a bit of his dark edge in this collection, though it is filled with floaty feminine and tiered dresses in beautiful jewel tones. This dress in particular is absolutely romantic, especially with the 1950s inspired bodysuit peeking through.
